Marcel Tchopwe was born in 1988 in the far north of Cameroon. Passionate about drawing, he joined IBA in 2014 (Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Douala in Nkongsamba). To develop his potential, he regularly visits the workshop of the main young artists of the contemporary Cameroonian scene such as Jean Jacques Kanté, Herve Youmbi, Salifou Lindou and Jean-David Nkot.
